Razchol's Art Works - Encaustic paintings. Encaustic is a painting method where color-pigmented beeswax is melted, applied to a surface (typically wood) and reheated to fuse the paint into a smooth or textured finish. The word encaustic comes from Greek and means 'to burn in', which refers to the process of fusing the paint. Encaustic has a long history, but it has been experiencing a recent resurgence in popularity due to the increased convenience and safety of heating appliances. The surface can be polished to a high gloss, it can be modeled, sculpted, textured, and combined with collage materials. It cools immediately, so that there is no drying time, yet it can always be reworked. The durability of encaustic is due to the fact that beeswax is impervious to moisture. Because of this it will not deteriorate. Encaustic paintings do not have to be varnished or protected by glass. The Potters Place - The Potters Place specializes in handmade pieces from porcelain and other clay bodies which are fired at a high fire. Our artists design and throw each piece that we offer. Deep Concepts Wholesale - Even from the concepts stage, all my work is based on recycled materials. I use large capacity above ground heating oil tanks, Rebar, logging cable and automobile hoods. Terra Verde Farms - Terra Verde Farms is a family owned and run specialty foods business. We began as a small organic farm in the Texas Hill Country growing stone fruit, figs and heirloom vegetables for market in Austin, Texas.
As growers we prided ourselves on the bold, fresh taste of the fruits and vegetables we grew. With the sale of the farm, we have insured that the flavors that our estate grown produce imparted to our preserves and other artisan crafted foods have been maintained.
All of Terra Verde Farms specialty products are truly "artisan foods", prepared in small batches from recipes that have been in our family for generations or new ones we have developed from scratch.

He came upon his first recipe while giving it to his tables as a very zesty bread-dipper. His customers wanted to buy it, but it was not available for sale, so, he took business cards with the dream of one day reselling that handmade recipe back to them. Almost ten years later, he had done just that. Since those days back in San Francisco at Scala's Bistro, John Spenger has taken that one recipe and introduced it to the culinary world and they haven't been the same since.
That one special recipe of balsamic vinegar, garlic and olive oil has since turned into a line of amazing flavors. www.spenger.com ServPro or Tigard/Tualatin - Fire & water clean up and restoration. Mercantile Dental Clinic - Dr. Lynn Smith and his crew will be introducing a contest called “Do a Good Deedâ€. This is an essay contest that rewards GOOD DEEDS done by children and teenagers to encourage them to make the right choices in life. Everybody on this planet has a vested interest in providing a stable foundation of moral values to our youngsters. We are sure that there is no greater joy for a parent than knowing that their children are on the right path. We believe that children deserve a helping hand to make their own choice of what is right or wrong, to make their own choice of how to reach their goals without compromising their morals. This contest is open to any youth under 18 years of age. Do what the title says, “DO A GOOD DEED†and tell us in a short essay what you did, why you chose to do it (include what principles you based your actions on) and what happened as a result. After enrolling, you will receive a submission number which you will need to gain access to the contest submission form. You will also receive additional materials to help you carry out your good deeds better, thus helping you to win the contest. If your enrollment is via e-mail, you will receive a submission number and materials via e-mail. However, if you send your enrollment by mail, we will send you the materials through the mail. For your contest, type approximately a half to one page about: What you did, why you did it, On what principles you based your actions, (e.g. President Theodore Roosevelt said,"..." or my mom said,"..." ) What were the consequences, meaning what were the results of your activity? In short, who benefited and how? Deeds can be a one-time occurrence, or recurring events. Come on and enter the Good Deed Contest by enrolling today! Enrollment forms will be available at Dr. Lynn Smith's Vendor Booth. www.Lsmithdenistry.com Tigard-Tualatin Family Resource Center - The Tigard-Tualatin Family Resource Center builds on individual and community strengths to assist families in becoming more self-sufficient and to increase successful family relationships to the school district and community. Tigard-Orenomah Lodge No. 207 - www.masonic-oregon.com/content/about/whatIsFreemasonry.php House of Reptiles - At House of Reptiles we specialize in reptile and amphibian care. The owner and staff have over 53 years combined experience in the care of these exotic animals. At our store we have over 200 animals representing more than 75 different species of lizards, snakes, turtles, frogs and even a few invertebrates (tarantulas, scorpions, centipedes, millipedes and cockroaches). We keep and maintain a current list of veterinarians in the Portland area who specialize in reptile and amphibian care, and we offer several health-care remedies used by herpetoculturists to treat a variety of conditions. We maintain a wide selection of “feeder” animals including five sizes of crickets, two sizes of mealworms, superworms, earthworms, waxworms, cockroaches, live mice (all sizes), and frozen vertebrates (mice, rats, gerbils, hamsters, soft fur rats, chicks, guinea pigs and rabbits). We place a large emphasis on the proper care and feeding of these animals. Too many pet stores see reptiles and amphibians as just another opportunity to make a profit, and offer these animals without adequate (or accurate) care information. These stores are too often staffed by people who’ve never kept herps and who’ve received little, if any, training in the care of herps. Part of the reason we started the store in the first place was because we believed that it could be done properly. We are constantly striving to provide the largest selection of products that are the best available for keeping these kinds of animals healthy and content. We keep the store animals in the kinds of set-ups that customers will use in their homes, instead of the large commercial rack systems that other stores use. That way people can see exactly what we are talking about when we describe critical aspects of care to them. Since we have our own personal collections of reptiles and have successfully bred many different species of snakes and lizards, we have the expertise that can only be acquired through many years of experience. Our array of reasonably priced services includes: 1) making fun and educational presentations to classrooms, birthday parties, libraries and other groups; 2) keeping a wide range of animals that can be made available for professional photo shoots; 3) providing low-cost boarding services, and; 4) making house calls to set up an enclosure or to troubleshoot problems with an animal's environment. In keeping with our commitment to education, we offer teachers a 10% discount on all animals and supplies that are used in the classroom. If you are shopping for gifts, we also have a wide selection of reptile and amphibian related books, DVDs, t-shirts, posters and mugs that any herp enthusiast would love to receive! House of Reptiles is located at 11507 S.W. Pacific Highway in Tigard, Oregon (just off I-5 at the 99W/Tigard exit, exit #294). Our phone number is (503) 722-1992. We are open Monday through Friday from 10am to 7pm, Saturday from 10am to 6pm and Sunday from noon to 5pm. Come see why we are the #1 reptile and amphibian store in the Pacific Northwest." Through extensive and diverse involvement with the entire community, the city intends to develop a Vision Statement that identifies what Tualatin’s community wants Tualatin to be. This “statement for the future” will help to guide the Tualatin Tomorrow process further in identifying the steps towards achieving the vision, and will also be used to guide Tualatin’s future planning efforts. This project will include identifying community issues and analyzing emerging trends, articulating Tualatin’s core community values, creating a vision statement and developing strategic action items based on the community’s core values and vision. Starting in early February 2006, members of the community, elected officials and city staff will work together with consultants over the next 15 months in competing this community project.
